Aryan Misto

Biography

Aryan Misto is a Kurdish poet from the city of Kobanê, born in 1987. He grew up in an environment where poetry was a part of life. His father wrote poetry as a hobby, which had a profound impact on him from childhood. Despite his love for words, he did not start writing until 2016, when he felt that emotions could no longer remain confined to the heart. His first poems were about his homeland, Welatê min. Over time, he wrote many poems, ranging from emotional to patriotic, expressing nostalgia, love, and pain. He has a poetry collection in Kurdish titled "Ax û Evîn" and another in Arabic titled The Groans of the Soul.
